Baby Seal Update

The baby seal is doing really well. It swims every day, but stays close to it’s young rescuer.

It appears to be a hooded seal (cystophora christata). Those seals don’t normally breed in Iceland. Hooded seals lactate only for four day’s, the shortest of any mammal, but this pup seems to be much smaller that it’s supposed to be.
