It’s been a while since last time.
I went to Vík last weekend for a short visit. I went to the local Þorrablót, met a lot of friends and had great fun. But the weather was frankly terrible, thunder and lightning, strong winds and heavy downpour. But I still got a picture, although I did not go all the way down to the beach since it was not safe due to the crashing waves.
Thank you for this….I wish you well in your new life in the city and am most glad you had a trip back to Vik, as these rock pictures are my favourite and a reminder of our time in Iceland…..my husband walked way out on this beach and we have a picture or two from the very same viewpoint. Albeit the weather was much different during our April visit than in this picture!!
