The progress of spring

The spring in Iceland is unreliable to say the least. It has not been to bad here in my tiny village, but many parts of the country has snow still, periodically blocked roads and all kinds of fun.

Today we hand a tiny bit of snow, but the weather was still mild, strangely enough.

This daffodil is from a potted bunch of mini daffodils I got last easter and planted in my garden when they were finished.
I had no idea if that would work – but it does apparently.

The rhubarb takes no notice of the unstable weather and is almost big enough to eat.

And the knitting is slowly growing too. The seemingly endless stocking stitch body is finished and I have finally started the sleeves.
