Spring knitting

There is a definite feeling of spring here on the black coast and I’m planning ahead (for once).

I have big plans for the summer you see, my husbands family is throwing this huge extended family gathering and a large part of it takes place outside. That calles for lopi clothing – and I want my family to be the best dressed in that department…

So last night I sketched a single ply plötulopi cardigan for the little lady (she has outgrown her lopi sweater so she needs one anyway)  and cast on. I’m going to make her a dress too, to match – it is going to be a party after all. That will be her third lopi dress, she has outgrown two already, this one and this one.

Her baby brother is going to get his first lopi garment.

My husband needs a new cardigan, and perhaps my son too – and my daughter needs a new dress (her old one is way too small now).  And I might make a new cardigan for me – if I have the time…
