Lopi Substitute Cardigan
This brown “fake lopi” cardigan should have been finished long ago. I finished knitting it, the steeking and all the rest a long time ago. Only the snaps were left – and they are now finally done. I must admit that I found the task of sewing in thirteen pairs of snaps rather boring.
I’m glad it’s done and now it will finally be turned over to it’s owner. Here are a few”"goodbye” photos:
The yoke pattern.
One of the bust increases. They are fun to knit and so easy to add to any pattern.
The sleeve pattern. The lover edge is the same.
The cardigan is knit with DROPS Merino Extra Fine, which is an excellent substitute for those that can not tolerate lopi.
Pattern: Var ( on page 22), with some alterations, I added shaping, skipped the hood and made slight changes in the yoke and edge patterns.

Hún er æði. Takk!
I’m wearing my Var as I´m reading it.
Mental note: have to learn how to do bust darts (I have the link you posted a while ago!)
Bare nydelig!!!!!
Har en fin dag videre!!!
Se ut som vi skal har liten storm…….incoming fra Island
