Baby and a cardigan

I made this sweater for my new grandson for Christmas. I finished it just in the nick of time – but it turned out quite all right. I took some modeled pictures of it last week when I spent a few days with him, his big sister and their parents.

I realize that you can’t see much of the actual garment in the pictures – bu who cares about a stupid cardigan when you look at this adorable face?

If anyone wants to know: the pattern is Easy Baby Cardigan from Knitting pure and simple. The yarn is Rowans pure wool DK. I used over-sized snaps instead of the suggested ties and the parents really like that,
