An Embroidered Tea Cozy
This tea cozy was the start of my ongoing embroidery adventure. It was a secret cal in my online knitting club, and I (unwisely) decided to use up some orange rests I had. I did not like the results and the embroidery was an attempt to rescue it. That did not really work, but I immediately realized I was on to something.
I made these two hats right away, and those I liked. One is sold, but my mother owns the green one, and that one is on display in my current embroidery exhibition.
I have come a long way since then, but I still like these early works. There is no turning back though, my embroidery gets more complex with every piece, that is just the way it is.
